Timber Sourcing

HK2 Structural Timber Ltd. works very closely with the approved suppliers below to ensure that all softwood used in our truss and open web floor operations is sourced only from well managed forest areas and suppliers in Finland & Sweden. Engineered wood is an environentally efficient resource as the manufacturing process makes maximum utilisation of the timber fibre and minimises waste.

Woodbridge Timber imports in excess of 600,000m³ of timber per annually to its four quayside distribution terminals, where, on arrival, an environmentally friendly treatment process to protect and prolong the life of products is offered to customers.

Onward distribution throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland is coordinated by a highly experienced team utilising a sophisticated IT database with deliveries made on a "just-in-time" basis.
